Turn turn turn....
To everything, turn, turn, turn.
There is a season, turn, turn, turn....
I grew up with the song ringing in my ears.
It became an expression. A thought. A feeling. Any time something happened too fast you quoted it.
You might not remember the whole song (I rarely do!) but you got the gist of it.
All you had to say is 'turn, turn, turn, ...' and everyone understood.
I feel like that right now. I know life is going fast. I can see it. I remember it.
The past is so past. So far back that chapters have formed.
I can pull up different parts of my life and think "Wow I did that!"
Other times it is like "I did that???"
The memory is a fragile thing. The more we put into it the harder it is to pull out the correct data.
Time is marching on. I love my life but I do get confused and think will I ever get to do that?
Whatever that is!! I feel Mr Time stealing from me. The Hour glass is dripping through.
Then I pull up and stop and think... what!?!!? how can you say that. You have so many years ahead of you. 30, 40 or 50 or more or maybe only a drop in time. Maybe not as active as when you were younger but where there is life you can live it.
Slower is good. Stop and smell the roses. Rome wasn't built in a day. There is still time. Embrace life! So many expressions!
Live life to the fullest!
Make good choices!
You can be the best!
I love helping people. It is my passion! See them feeling good. Looking their best. Looking forward to the next day. Waking up with renewed energy. Helping them plan out their next hurdle. Helping them help themselves.
So many trials and obstacles are met everyday. So many things to negotiate over. And sometimes to just realize they are there.
Happiness. Milestones. Stepping Stones along the path.
Talking to people also gives me energy.
I also want to help me.
The more I see people become what they want to be the more empowering it is for me.
I am ready to move mountains, or at least climb them.
Turn, turn, turn,...
I am now a Board Certified Health Coach. Yipee! Something I didn't think I could do at this stage.
But as I now realize you can be what you want to be.
Time is not really the enemy.
But your inability to work it.
Breath.
Refocus.
There are 24 hours in the day. You don't have to sit at a computer all day. Or on the phone. Or what every you have to do.
There are choices. You can step away and refocus.
As a client was saying when she goes out for a walk at lunch she gets so much more done in the afternoon. When she works through lunch she is so sluggish and downing the coffees. And before she knows it the day is done and she has not finished what she wanted to.
Time to turn, turn, turn, ... and find your own time.
Stop and smell the roses.
yes there is work to be done.
Eat the frog first...
Get it done but enjoy life.
Watch the fire burn. Go for a kayak ride. Climb a mountain. Read a book. Go for a walk.
Enjoy life.

Byrds – Turn! Turn! Turn! Lyrics
To everything, turn, turn, turn.
There is a season, turn, turn, turn.
And a time to every purpose under heaven.
A time to be born, a time to die.
A time to plant, a time to reap.
A time to kill, a time to heal.
A time to laugh, a time to weep.
To everything, turn, turn, turn.
There is a season, turn, turn, turn.
And a time to every purpose under heaven.
A time to build up, a time to break down.
A time to dance, a time to mourn.
A time to cast away stones.
A time to gather stones together.
To everything, turn, turn, turn.
There is a season, turn, turn, turn.
And a time to every purpose under heaven.
A time of love, a time of hate.
A time of war, a time of peace.
A time you may embrace.
A time to refrain from embracing.
To everything, turn, turn, turn.
There is a season, turn, turn, turn.
And a time to every purpose under heaven.
A time to gain, a time to lose.
A time to rend, a time to sow.
A time for love, a time for hate.
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late.
